Cozy Holiday Wedding at Oceanstone Resort

I’ve been waiting almost a year to share one of my favorite Holiday weddings over here on the blog. With all the Holiday excitement swirling it seemed like the perfect time to share some winter wedding inspiration with Mya and Hugh’s intimate Oceanstone Resort wedding from last December.

Mya and Hugh were planning their wedding this time last year. As Covid cases continued to rise and restrictions were constantly changing they made the decision to move forward with their wedding regardless of what it may have looked like when the day arrived. As we continued to navigate all the conversations of plans A, B and C Mya never lost her excitement or focus on what the day was truly about. As I sit here and look through their gorgeous photos captured by Shaeline Faith Photography today, that is still so evident to me. They were truly just so excited to be married to one another.

For their intimate ceremony we designed a grand arch with winter evergreens and neutral blooms which almost seemed to fill the entire room. We dressed the mantle with another lush installation which became the perfect backdrop for photos. It felt like every corner of the room had been filled with flowers and candles.

Amidst restrictions Mya and Roberta of Oceanstone came up with a plan that because they were unable to have one large meal together, they would seat families together in individual cottages for dinner. Now, if you’ve ever been to a wedding at Oceastone, you likely already know and love Roberta. She truly goes above and beyond for her couples. She dressed each cottage table with our cedar garlands, bud vases, twinkle lights and more.

Enjoy these photos from their most magical day!
