Danielle Roberts

On my 16th birthday my dad went to a small shop in our city to buy me a bouquet of flowers. He found out at the time they were hiring and encouraged me to apply. That after school part time job grew into a creative passion that would stay with me a lifetime and forge the path for not only my career but also my way of life. Nova Scotia has always been home to me and I feel so fortunate to have worked at most of the venues on our East Coast and beyond. I started Twig & Twine Floristry as a way to work from home and spend more time with our daughters, Bella & Willow, and my Husband James. When I am not knee deep in flowers, you’ll find me with my family vintage treasure hunting, camping somewhere along our province's gorgeous coast line, rummaging through my dad's garden or curled up with one of our pups watching netflix.

Our Flower Studio

We are a small (but mighty) family run home based floral studio specializing in weddings and events. My shop was built for me at our home by my Husband, James, and my father. It’s truly one of my favorite places to be. My designs tend to be organic and free in style. I love the beauty of local flowers and am always trying to incorporate them whenever possible. During the off season of weddings I love continually investing in my education to learn new techniques and product knowledge from our Industry leaders globally. Most recently traveling to Seattle to attend the Sinclair and Moore Workshop - a dream come true. We’ve had our work featured in award-winning online publications such as Magnolia Rouge, voted Gold in The Coasts “Halifax Best of Weddings” and have even had one of our weddings featured on national television.
